I am not woke, however I love how this weapon falls in my lap.
I am openly Bi, I speak to people to grab signatures (for ballot access, 100, despite having 620 votes under my belt), when I come past people saying I am Green, Liberal, NDP….they see my button and I even mention it, and it’s like still a “no ballot access for you!” Some scoff at the “visibility” or “representation” notion which makes me wonder why they push their woke agendas, they maybe over estimate the value that has with voters in the trenches.
Putting things to a twitter poll isn’t wise. They clearly don’t believe in that. They must not or they’d instruct people to sign any nomination tied to “representation” or “visibility” or “uplifting voices” regardless of Party. For “EQUITY!”
I don’t want to name anyone specific, they seem nice, and those parties will toss the rank-n-file under the bus.
It’s party brass level hypocrisy. A lot of members like grow up in a party, they vote like a habit, sort of how Conservative Republicans voted for a Transexual Anarchist Satanist for Sheriff.

*I don’t mention the cripple thing, because like Asian, it only counts, in woke terms, if there’s a big story about one getting attacked to take advantage of.
